Have you experienced stress before?

If you have then you probably know the amount of helplessness that comes with the feeling of stress. You are so focused on the job that you are not able to think about the stress that is causing you to be stressed. The only thing you can think of is the anger you feel toward your stressors.

 If not, then this might be something you need to address.

Stress is a mental state under which a particular task seems to be difficult or impossible to accomplish.  Stress is caused when there is too much of something and not enough of anything. It is very easy to become stressed. Stress increases your heart rate and breathing rate. This causes you to feel anxious.   

If you are experiencing stress, here are some ways you can manage it:

2. Talk to someone you trust about your feelings. "I believe that words are strong, that they can overwhelm what we fear when fear seems more awful than life is good." - Andrew Solomon, 'The Noonday Demon'.

3. Ask for advice. Listen to the advice and consider it. If it is not helpful, then it may not be good advice at all thus ignore it. helpful. Avoid situations that cause your anxiety.  I think it's very important to have a feedback loop, where you're constantly thinking about what you've done and how you could be doing it better. I think that's the single best piece of advice: constantly think about how you could be doing things better and questioning yourself.” - Elon Musk

4. Learn to relax. Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer.” - William S. Burroughs.

5. Try yoga or exercise. Take a walk, take deep breaths, and eat more slowly. “Exercise not only changes your body, but it also changes your mind, your attitude, and your mood.” - Unknown

6. Stay in touch with friends and family. The Internet can provide a great place to connect with others who share your passions and interests. ”Sometimes, being with your best friend is all the therapy you need.” - Unknown

8. Make a list of things to do in the next few days. “Plan for what is difficult while it is easy, do what is great while it is small.” - Sun Tzu.

Use these tips and the tips above to reduce your level of stress.

As you become more comfortable with the stress in your life, it will become less difficult.

When it starts to get difficult, you will find ways and means to handle it easier and easier.

The more you learn to cope with stress the easier it becomes.

You will feel better!

A little bit of everything goes a long way in your healing. As the number of stress increases, so will your stress level. You should become more familiar with how much stress is acceptable to you and at what point are you likely to break, this will mitigate the amount of stress in your life and help you avoid it. Keep this in mind as you work with your own stress.
